Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
The shadows that she noticed on the lawn inspired her to spend months developing an approach that however, did not paint the selected object onto canvas. When objects live or perishable like fruit and even people, they become a painting of their own. Her ephemeral painterly style is obvious and what remains of Alexa Meade's work is the photograph. The painting and the photographic techniques are so tightly coordinated and result in nothing but a two-dimensional flat space that achieves trompe-l'oeil. In this, the third dimension is only visible within certain places, such as near the eyes or in hair. Occasionally, Meade integrates her painted models into the three-dimensional environment around them, which allows them to engage with this self-created world. The line that separates painting and photography can be dissolved.
