Annie Murphy
Anne Frances Murphy aka Annie Murphy was born on 19th December 1986. She's Canadian, but is based in Hollywood. Her main role was that in the role of Alexis Rose from the CBC sitcom Schitt's Mill, a series which started in 2014 before ending in 2020. Her performance was critically acclaimed the role and received with the Primetime Emmy Award. Parents of her were teachers. She is the child of two educators. She joined Elmwood School in Ottawa where the stage was where she appeared in productions. After that, she attended Concordia University from where she completed a bachelor's degree in theatre performance. After that, she took acting classes at the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory. Later she moved into Los Angeles at the age of 22 where she pursued acting as a profession. Annie Murphy made her acting debut in 2007 with the thriller TV film Lethal Obsession. After that, she performed in a variety of films, either as an extra or in minor parts. A few of them are extremely popular for their time, like Story of Jen released in 2008 Lick in 2010 and A Windigo Tale released the same year. She has also participated in Canadian television shows, including Good God which was broadcast in the year 2012 Rookie Blue that aired the same year. The actress has demonstrated she is able to work on many different acting projects. Annie had to struggle at first to establish herself as an actor. She also worked hard to show her talent and get noticed. Moreover her standout performances proved she was the top actress in the film and entertainment industry. She also appeared in a variety of American TV shows, including The Beautiful Life TBL (2009), Blue Mountain State (2010), Beaut & The Beast 2012, along with a myriad of others.
