Ina-Garten
Ina Gardner is the writer of many famous American cookbooks on cooking. Ina also hosts Barefoot Contessa on Food Network. The show is on since 2002. Ina Garten started her career in the White House where she wrote nuclear energy policies and budget reports. Though she found the career to be stimulating intellectually, eventually she dropped interest and bought a tiny specialty food store - Barefoot Contessa. Before selling the business it took her more than 18 years building it to a highly successful store. Others followed, and so did magazine columns. She also appeared on the Food Network TV show also made its debut with great hit. Her products range from kitchen equipment to ingredients as well as storage containers. Ina has never attended any cookery schools nor did she work in a dining establishment. Ina is a self-taught cook. Her name is associated with her casual way of cooking and entertaining. She is known for her simple recipes such as Skillet of Roasted Lemon Chicken Macaroni and Cheese using Beef Bourguignon as well as Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
